Maximizing Circularity by Harnessing 2nd-Life

The battery industry is just one of many that is recognizing the importance of a circular approach. With over 80% capacity remaining after 1st-life in an e-vehicle, the potential for further use of the same battery is considerable. 2nd-life is not only a win for circularity, but also in terms of profitability. This doesn't eliminate the need for recycling- it simply maximizes the use of each battery. Recyclers will eventually close the loop.
